Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on your culinary experience, we provide a welcoming environment where you can grow your skills. No senior care experience? Cook Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional service to residents by leading and motivating team members to provide fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
Prepare and assist cooking meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards. This will also include feature/specials and grill service.
Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
Help maintain a clean and sanitary culinary department.
Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
Perform additional tasks as required.
Cook Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Prior cooking experience in institutional and/or quantity cooking equivalent preferred but not required.
We’ll train you for this position!
Ability to speak and read English.
Basic math skills.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with others.
