We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Swing Driver to join our team in Waycross, GA. The Swing Driver will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently and safely, covering various routes as assigned. This role requires flexibility, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver goods on assigned routes. Ensure timely and safe delivery of products to customers. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle inspections, and deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed. Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management. Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle class. Clean driving record with no recent violations. Previous experience as a commercial driver preferred. Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy loads as required. This position involves driving in various weather conditions and traffic situations. The Swing Driver will spend extended periods on the road and may be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on route assignments. How to Apply
