Job Description – Responsible for providing timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests.
Job Duties
Open and close bar
Make and serve drinks
Clean tables and bar area
Maintain storage room where alcohol is kept and keep inventory levels
Restock items when necessary
Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
Display knowledge of all menu items, contents, and preparation methods
Be knowledgeable of hotel property and amenities
Job Requirements
Previous bartending or training required
Must be 21 years of age
Be self‑motivated and able to work independently
Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
Knowledge of the Micros operating system a plus
Have working knowledge of beer, wine & liquor and common drink recipes
Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight up to 40 lbs
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Clean background check and reliable transportation a must
Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills
Open availability—including evenings and weekends
1–2 years experience making craft cocktails
