Possible Dream Office Professional (On Site - University Center, MI)

Position Summary The successful candidate must demonstrate experience, skills, and commitment to fostering an environment of belonging, diversity, equity and inclusion in students, faculty and staff.
Responsibilities
Event Coordination:
Schedule events for the Possible Dream Program, which serves 500-600 middle and high school students annually. Assist with event logistics, including setup, transportation, meals, and maintaining electronic calendars.
Volunteer Management:
Develop and update a database with contact information for faculty, staff, and business partners who support academic, career, and cultural programs. Coordinate with regional teachers, administrators, college students, parents, and other volunteers to assist with program activities.
Student Nomination Process:
Manage correspondence related to student nominations. Create and maintain nomination packets and explain the nomination process to regional schools. Coordinate with school administrators to distribute program materials.
Data Preparation:
Work with the Possible Dream Coordinator and Director of Institutional Research to collect and assess data on student and program success. Prepare data presentations for Delta College, donors, and sponsors. Maintain a filing system to track program outcomes.
Marketing and Public Relations:
Update marketing materials, including social media, print materials, posters, and the program website on a regular basis.
This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Possible Dream Program and ensuring its success in helping students achieve their goals.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma
1 – 3 years of position related experience.
Experience working in a K-12 Education or College setting preferred.
Application Deadline Position will remain open until filled. First consideration will be given to applications received by December 10th. The College reserves the right to close the recruitment process once a sufficient applicant pool has been identified.
