Prepares food according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals. Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlines standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items for quality control. Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintain standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food- handling procedures. Will manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director. Perform other job-related duties as they become required. Cook Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hired. Previous management or supervisory experience. If you are a driven and dedicated
