Job Summary The server is responsible for providing excellent dining experiences for customers and ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant service operations. Key duties include greeting guests, taking orders, serving food, addressing customer needs and complaints, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Observe cash control procedures and print out of reports in POS.

Ensure all customer orders and requests are completed promptly and satisfactorily.

Serve food to guest/s accurately, promptly, and satisfactorily, ensuring accurate serving condiments required with each menu item.

Bring the food on the table, providing the name of the food item when presenting the food to guest and warn them if the plate or cup is hot, or there are liquids that may spill onto the guest. Say, “Enjoy your meal” and refill guest drinks as required.

Ensure visibility and proactive to guest needs at all times.

Clean and re-stock supplies on side stations and re-fill food and beverages according to standards.

Ensure side stations at the service station are fully equipped for service.

Ensure food preparation and presentation are done according to prescribed standards.

Practice 3 Cs: Communication, Coordination and Cooperation with all service team to ensure proper delivery of good customer service.

Clean and reset table for the next guest when the customer leaves and maintain cleanliness of service areas.

Ensure floor is clean, dry, and safe.

Job Requirements

At least one year of recent experience as a server in a full service restaurant is required for the role.

Experience in a dim sum or high volume restaurant is a huge plus.

Strong communication skills in English to provide excellent guest service.

Friendly, professional service-oriented attitude.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable team player with a strong sense of responsibility.

Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Able to work weekends, holidays and peak dining hours.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays as needed.

Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish is helpful for communication with kitchen staff.
