As a Cleaning Specialist at Maids of Hartford, you’ll be the face of our company in clients’ homes. You’ll use your own reliable transportation and bring your own basic cleaning supplies to each job.

What You’ll Do Clean residential homes following Maids of Hartford cleaning checklists
Bring your own cleaning supplies and tools to each job
Travel to job locations using your own reliable transportation
Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and general tidying
Respect clients’ homes, belongings, and privacy
Provide excellent customer service to encourage positive ratings and tips
Maintain professionalism and communicate clearly with the admin team
Follow all safety standards and report any issues during visits
Who This Role is For? Must-Haves:
Reliable transportation (required to reach client homes)
Ability to provide your own basic cleaning supplies (we will list the required supplies. If you have different supplies, they are subject to approval.)
Reliable and consistently on time
Able to follow checklists and training instructions
Respectful, professional communication
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
Able to lift 20–25 lbs and be on your feet for several hours
Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check
Nice-to-Haves:
Previous professional cleaning or housekeeping experience
Experience in customer-facing roles (retail, hospitality, etc.)
Comfort using apps for schedules, checklists, and job updates
Desire to grow into Lead, Trainer, or Field Supervisor roles
Schedule and Availability This position is ideal for someone who is available Monday through Friday with consistent or flexible daytime hours. Flexibility is required for start/end times depending on client bookings.
You will essentially create your own schedule based on clients we have available who are scheduled to start between 9am (earliest client start time) and 5pm (latest client start time). Upon confirming Claiming Shift, the client is your entire responsibility from start to finish.
