Immediately Hiring a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver in Golden, CO. We want the right Employee to Drive with us at Ryder.

Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
Hourly Pay: $29.87 per hour
Loyalty Bonus: pays you $1750 at 6 months and $1750 at one year
Hours per week: 40 or more hours per week
Paid Training
Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off
OT required
Start time: 5:45 AM
Route and Equipment
Deliver SOLO to yard and shuttling within 3 miles
Route: local home daily
Tractor type: day cab
Trailer type: dry van 53’
Freight: no touch – yard switching

Paid personal time off starts at day 1 – 80 hours accrued in first year
Paid personal time policy – we encourage you to use vacation time earned. If you decide not to use it, we pay you the remaining balance at your hourly pay rate.

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder drug test
Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
9 months experience within the past three years, OR
2 years’ experience within the last five years, OR
5 years’ experience within the last ten years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Performs other duties as assigned
