You must be able to take direction well and communicate effectively at all times. If selected to be a team member, you will be working under close supervision from The Stray Dog management group.
You must have a friendly drama free demeanor and the ability to work in a team environment. You must be honest, hard working, organized and dependable.
The Stray Dog is open 7 days a week from noon until late.
The Stray Dog has strict food service appearance standards and guidelines. Intentional body alteration or modification for the purpose of achieving a visible deformity is prohibited. These include, but are not limited to; vulgar tattoos, facial piercing, tongue piercing/splitting, earlobe expansion and skin implants.
You must be able to lift up to 50lbs, walk up and down stairs and be on your feet for approximately 6-10 hours.

The Stray Dog is looking for a bartender who is experienced, knowledgeable, hardworking, and detail-oriented. As a bartender, you will create a welcoming environment, guide guests through their dining experience, and ensure each guest has had a memorable experience. Duties and Responsibilities
Great guests with a warm, sincere smile promptly upon seating.
Record and submit all orders, process payments, and balance all receipts accurately.
Be knowledgeable of menu details and company information to answer guest questions.
Exceed expectations for each guest experience and anticipate guests’ needs.
Proficiently operate the POS system and follow cash-handling procedures.
Serve drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
Follow recipes and prepare drinks to the highest standard and consistency.
Listen to and resolve customer complaints, questions, or suggestions in a timely manner.
Adhere to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures and maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
Complete cleaning tasks according to daily and weekly schedules.
Complete opening and closing tasks and side work as needed during shift.
Assist with orienting and training new employees as instructed by management.
Participate in and contribute to staff meetings or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.
Communicate with other FOH team members to ensure each guest’s needs are fulfilled.
Perform any other relevant tasks as instructed by management.
Required Skills and Abilities
At least 21 years of age
2+ years of bartending experience
Available during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong skills in customer service, communication, planning, problem-solving, and teamwork
High energy levels and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Authorization, Certification and At-Will Employment Agreement I authorize this company to make an investigation of all information contained in this employment application and I release from liability all companies and corporations supplying such information.
