Position Overview
Pay Range: $25.50/hr - $26.06/hr + $1.50 Shift Premium
Hours: 12:30pm –11:30pm, Wednesday-Friday (Hours may vary pending on production needs) (On average 29 hours per week).
Responsibilities
Manufacture “great tasting” sausage enjoyed by millions of people around the world
Work in a team environment to obtain World Class results in safety, member development, quality, sanitation, and efficiencies
Enhance your skill level and your career
Set goals and objectives to achieve “superlative” performance to support the Johnsonville Way
Responsible for monitoring casing tunnel
Scan casings to line
Documentation of casings soaked
Tear down, perform sanitation and set up of soaking system and related carts, equipment and items
Track information such as casing suppliers and numbers on casing barrel label
Mix and maintain citric acid treatment
Load and unload the system
Identify and resolve potential problems
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Skills
Take ownership for own and members safety
Forklift and/or walkie rider experience required
Proactive team player
Good verbal and written communication skills
Casing soaking knowledge a plus
Sanitation knowledge a plus
Basic math skills required
Must be able to fill out daily documentation accurately
Must have desire to learn and grow and share information (educate) with Members
The ability to occasionally (one to two times per hour) lift/move a pallet in excess of 50 pounds
Must be able to read production schedules
Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.
Other Requirements Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check
