Laundry Aide Full-Time and Part-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry Aide to join our team at St. Petersburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Responsibilities:
Launder and fold patient linens, towels, and clothing in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure all patient laundry items are properly labeled and returned to the correct resident
Maintain a clean and organized laundry facility, including the washing and drying machines, and storage areas
Sort and prioritize laundry tasks to meet departmental deadlines
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources
Follow all infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
0 years of experience in laundry or related field
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment as necessary
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy
Work Environment:
Work in a clean and organized laundry facility
Collaborate with other team members in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
