Job Opportunity : Help grow the next generation of women leaders! The council serves 19 counties in central/eastern Washington and 10 counties in northern Idaho, covering 29 counties and 67,000 square miles. Compensation : Full‑time, $23.00‑$25.00 per hour DOE.

This role supports volunteers throughout northern Idaho by providing logistical assistance for new troop starts, ongoing troop support, and regional volunteer leadership teams. The position involves significant travel (at least 50%) across Spokane and Stevens counties, weekend and evening availability, and vehicle provision. Primary Responsibilities
Assist in achieving the council’s strategic goals for girl and adult membership in assigned areas. Mentor adult volunteers to work with girls in assigned program‑grade level to ensure delivery of programs and services. Monitor and support problem solving and conflict resolution in a timely manner. Ensure Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults by delivering the Girl Scouts message of pluralism and diversity to members of the council. Create, implement, and evaluate techniques to ensure the effective delivery of Girl Scout program within troops. Support Service Unit Leadership Team with program delivery, monthly correspondence, conflict resolution, training, and meeting attendance. Mentor Service Unit leadership to assess training needs and fulfillment of defined roles that will increase membership, retention, and quality program delivery. Promote and assist with Council‑wide programs and activities to further membership growth. Work inter‑departmentally to ensure council goals are met. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent experience considered). Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance required. Willingness to work weekend and evening hours. Excellent communication skills, willing to utilize a variety of communication tools (text, phone, email, etc.). Good organization and time‑management skills. Demonstrated passion for working with Girl Scouts and a nonprofit environment, and expertise in using various communication vehicles that engage girls, volunteers, parents, donors, and the community. Experienced in the use of computers; strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies with basic data quality principles and practice. Willingness to subscribe to the principles of the Girl Scout movement, including acceptance of the Girl Scout philosophy and willingness to maintain membership in the Girl Scouts USA.
