Job Title: Vault Custodian
Location: Eatontown, NJ
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $22.00 - $22.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:15 PM
Contractor Work Model: 100% onsite work is required
Vault Custodian Responsibilities
Primary responsibility is to maintain accurate inventory and accountability of live debit and credit cards Counts and maintains accurate quantities of completed debit & credit cards. Secures box of completed/live debit and credit cards inside large bank vault. Completes proper paperwork. Maintains and enters basic data into MS Excel spreadsheets to account for items inside vault. Counts completed credit cards (x2). Reconciles vault inventory twice per day (before lunch and before end of day) and ensures 100% accountability of completed debit and credit cards before they are shipped to customers Secures mail sent "return to sender" inside vault and opens each piece. Logs each piece of returned mail and reason why it was returned to sender. Documents/details reason in computer and follows established procedures to properly destroy completed debit or credit cards sent "return to sender" Maintains a clean, neat and well-organized work area. Follows written procedures, monitors equipment and communicates with management when issues arise or supplies become low. Performs a variety of other duties as assigned. We are a small operation and share responsibilities, help one another on the team and pitch‑in wherever needed. Vault Custodian Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education or vocational / technical training is desired (MS Office). Must be able to work in a Federally regulated work environment (banking) At least one (1) year experience working in banking such as Bank Teller, Money Handling, Office Manager, or related job requiring accurate money handling experience Must possess attention to detail, able to accurately perform quality inspection of product Strong computer skills. Should be comfortable at all times on computer. Must have legible handwriting and be able to write neatly and concisely Must be able to perform basic data entry and ensure accuracy Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, carry material, etc. For more information, call our main office at: 732-240-0209 #2 and say you are interested in the
