New Albany Country Club
New Albany Country Club seeks a highly motivated, positive, friendly, and energetic Martial Arts Instructor.
Hourly rate plus commission for each class taught.
Offering one weekend day class and possibly 1 weekday evening class.
Education and/or Experience
Black belt (or advanced belt) in a traditional martial arts style, such as Karate or Taekwondo
Prior experience teaching Martial Arts to students ages 5 years to teenage and varying fitness levels. Adult instruction experience is welcomed.

CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred.
Essential Duties include:
Create lesson plans to ensure skill progression for all ages advancing in belt levels.
Plan and communicate the belt‑testing event to promote students within the class.
Plan and prepare skill progression specific to martial arts for each class.
Instruct martial arts skill progression for all ages advancing in belt levels.
Ensure students are using proper form and structure.
Responsible for martial arts students’ supervision and safety.
Accurately track class attendance.
Provide parent communication through daily connections, orientations, and class overviews.
Complete skill evaluations for each student in class and keep skill cards up to date for class selection and progression awards.
All other duties as assigned.
