The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our Food & Beverage team. Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, the Forbes 4‑Star, AAA 4‑Diamond property boasts 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and seven food and beverage outlets—including three restaurants, three bars, a café, and in‑room dining.

Shift:

Various – Must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate:

$65,000 - $70,000 (salary range based on applicable experience and location).

Responsibilities

Assist in the management of operations, including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems usage, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy implementation, and meeting facilitation.

Oversee and develop team member performance through supervision, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.

Monitor and assess product quality, service, and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and implement improvements.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.

Initiate and implement marketing and upselling techniques to promote restaurant offerings and maximize revenue.

Recruit, interview, and train team members.

Act as acting manager in the absence of the General Manager as needed.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of restaurant management experience in a high‑volume bar environment.

Exceptional leadership ability with a passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences.

Strong beverage knowledge; prior luxury hotel experience is a plus.

Proven talent for training and developing staff.

Experience in all aspects of restaurant operations.
