Job Description Aramark at Rocket Arena is seeking an Upscale Food Runner to join our team for the 2025-2026 Cavs Season at our new all-inclusive fine dining club opening this season. The Food Runner is a vital member of the front-of-house team, serving as the critical link between the kitchen and the dining room. This role is responsible for ensuring that all food and beverage items are delivered to guests promptly, accurately, and with impeccable presentation. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a sense of urgency, and a genuine passion for providing a high‑end dining experience. A Food Runner in an upscale establishment must be knowledgeable about the menu and adhere to the highest standards of service and etiquette.
COMPENSATION: $16.80 per hour.

Job Responsibilities Food Delivery and Presentation:
Serve as the final point of quality control for all dishes leaving the kitchen.
Ensure each plate is properly garnished, free of imperfections, and meets the restaurant's high standards for presentation.
Deliver food orders to the correct guests and tables in a timely and professional manner, using proper carrying techniques.
Announce each dish to the guest, briefly describing the components and preparation method.
Address any special guest requests or dietary restrictions, ensuring they are communicated effectively to the kitchen.
Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain a clear and constant line of communication with both the kitchen staff (Expeditor, Chef) and the service team (Servers, Bartenders).
Act as a liaison to relay any guest feedback, concerns, or special instructions to the appropriate team members.
Assist servers in managing the pace of the meal service, communicating when a table is ready for the next course or if guests are dining slowly.
Restaurant Operations and Support:
Support the service staff by refilling water glasses, clearing plates between courses, and bussing tables as needed.
Ensure all service stations are clean, organized, and fully stocked with plateware, silverware, glassware, and other necessary supplies.
Assist in setting and resetting tables with the correct utensils and linens.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a high‑volume or upscale dining environment is strongly preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
A professional and polished appearance and demeanor.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods.
Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
