Highlands Healthcenter
Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking for a detailed orientated Housekeeper to join our Environmental Service team in Memphis, TN. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitization of the community and the safety of our residents, and staff.
This position is full time working 8:00AM-4:00PM.
Job Requirements
Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience
Knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies and equipment use
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physical ability to stand, walk, lift and carry supplies and equipment
Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility offices
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust resident care areas and hallways on a routine schedule
Empty trash and dispose of waste safely
Change bed linens, make beds, and restock resident rooms with necessary supplies
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, lounges, and nursing stations
Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
