The Department of Radiation Oncology and Applied Sciences (DROAS) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center seeks a full‑time radiation oncologist with an emphasis on gynecologic oncology and brachytherapy to serve in Lebanon, New Hampshire. DROAS is a member of the Dartmouth Cancer Center, one of the original NCI‑designated cancer centers, and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.

Qualifications
Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
Post‑graduate training in a residency program
Current New Hampshire medical license
Current or eligible for ABMS board certification (to be obtained within 5 years)
Active hospital staff membership
Responsibilities
Conduct tests and examinations to confirm diagnoses.
Execute radiation treatments, including external beam radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, and stereotactic treatments.
Develop treatment plans with appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Consistently monitor patients’ progress.
Provide pharmacological treatment and suggest appropriate lifestyle changes.
Prior experience treating and diagnosing cancer patients.
Adequate knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and techniques.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
A compassionate and empathetic personality.
Ability to practice on a per diem “as‑needed” basis across several locations in New Hampshire and/or Vermont.
