Overall Responsibility Purple Cow host team members cooperatively work with all team members to consistently provide guests with “Outrageous” service. Host staff are responsible for seating guests, managing wait lists, informing guests of Purple Cow offerings, and presenting guests with menus and other sales materials in a friendly, enthusiastic manner with a smile. Purple Cow host staff should have the ability to work positively in a high‑paced, team environment.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Maintaining a clean station
Greeting and seating guests
Rolling silverware
Answering phones
Taking guest’s to‑go orders over the phone
Organizing wait lists
Communicates With
Bus staff
Soda Jerk
Servers
Management
Qualifications
Strong sense of guest service and urgency
Good organizational and multi‑tasking skills
Ability to stay focused on tasks
Guest relations experience
Ability to work with others
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
