Compensation $19.00 - $21.00/hr
Position Purpose As a Merchandiser, you’ll drive to customer locations using your personal vehicle, meet with customers, place merchandise in display areas following plan‑ograms, check for out‑of‑date product, and ensure every square foot of the store is properly set according to plan. You must assess critical needs and notify management immediately of any issues, assess customer sales, identify slow‑moving or discontinued items, and recommend replacement items that will increase sales and profits for the customer.
Territory The territory assigned includes Bishop, Mammoth, Fort Independence, Tonopah, Big Pine, and Lome Pine.
Key Responsibilities
Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at customer locations.
Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager when required.
Maintain a safe working environment in the store aisle.
Maintain assigned equipment.
Report hours to the division on provided timesheets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Self‑motivated, self‑starter with strong attention to detail.
Resides in Bishop, CA and surrounding neighborhoods.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
Ability to frequently lift products weighing from 5‑25 lbs. throughout the day.
Ability to lift a case of product or tote that could weigh up to 70 lbs.
Additional Information
Schedule: Monday‑Friday.
Mileage & cell phone reimbursement program (Mileage paid from home to home).
Must reside in Bishop, CA & surrounding areas.
