We are looking for a hands‑on Night Porter to join the Scenic Hotel Bay of Islands based in Paihia.

Hotel: Scenic Hotel Bay of Islands
Location: 58 Seaview Road, Paihia
Employment Type: Fixed‑Term, waged role from December 2025 – April 2026. Monday to Sunday.
Hours: 30 hours guaranteed per week
Shifts: Your day will start at 10:30pm – 7:00am. Rotating roster, including weekends. Weekends are our busiest times.
Is This Your Ideal Role? Are you a night owl who enjoys making late‑night guests feel welcome and valued? Keep things secure as you oversee our hotel's night‑time operations. Keep our reception and public areas sparkling.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities Supervise and oversee night shifts, including meeting and greeting guests arriving late. Respond to guest enquiries at night. Oversee security of the hotel property and report any incidents or concerns to the Front Office Manager or General Manager. Re‑stock shop items (if required) and clean reception and public areas. Assist with other tasks assigned by the Front Office Manager or General Manager.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role (Preferred) Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing)
