Responsibilities
Cleans patient care rooms, outpatient areas and public areas following proper procedures in all areas as assigned to meet HackensackUMC cleaning standards.
Maintains all floors surfaces.
Performs repetitive cleaning operations throughout the work day under specific instructions with little need for individual judgment in working out job problems.
Works with frequent contact with water and cleaning solutions.
Moves furniture as required.
Replaces shower curtains as needed.
Collects soiled linen and disposes of same linen in laundry chute.
Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.
Qualifications
High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
Three years of hospital housekeeping experience.
Good communication skills.
Licenses and Certifications Required
Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST / AHE).
Maintain annual CEUs and renew certification every 4 years.
Compensation Starting at $18.23 Hourly.
