Pay Range:
$13.00/hr – $13.00/hr (Hourly, Part‑time)

Summary:
We are hiring a swim instructor for the Clermont Family YMCA’s aquatics program. This role provides leadership and instruction to swimmers while building relationships with members. Excellent communication and a strong ability to swim are required. A balance of customer service and education is preferred.
Responsibilities
Instruct swim lessons as assigned following YMCA guidelines, preparing lesson plans accordingly.
Develop positive relationships with participants and provide motivational support and guidance.
Encourage member and parent involvement in program.
Convey basic program and schedule information as needed.
Maintain progress reports and attendance records as required.
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must maintain CPR, First Aid and AED certifications during employment.
YMCA Swim Instructor or equivalent certification preferred.
Demonstrated ability to instruct participants on swimming skills and stroke techniques.
Referrals:
Increase chances of interview by 2x.
