Job Description As a Security Officer – Commercial Patrol Driver Required in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This part‑time security officer position is primarily a driving post that requires conducting regular mobile patrols and providing outstanding customer service. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or security‑related concerns.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a positive environment.
Document and report security‑related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
