Job Overview We're looking for skilled, safety-focused Concrete Mixer Truck Drivers to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting and delivering ready-mix concrete to job sites across the Charleston and Greater Charleston area. We're looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to getting the job done right.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites.
thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, batch plant staff, and job site personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Commitment to professionalism and courtesy, both with customers and fellow team members.
Maintain proper handling and slump of concrete during transit and unloading.
Keep accurate delivery records and daily driver logs.
Willingness to keep our concrete mixer trucks in top shape, including cleaning and chipping as needed, and ensuring all fluids and tire pressure are at their prime.
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Requirements
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL – Class B minimum).
Prior experience operating either a front load or rear load mixer truck or similar heavy equipment preferred.
Ability to read and understand delivery tickets and follow verbal instructions.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment and various weather conditions.
Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
Must be punctual, dependable, and have a positive attitude.
