We provide non‑emergency medical transportation, shuttle services, valet parking, service excellence consulting and coaching, parking/garage management and welcome desk/concierge services.
Outdoor Valet Greeter - $17.00 per hour, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, Monday‑Friday.
We are currently looking for several detail‑oriented, energetic and compassionate team members for our valet team at a local hospital. Ideal candidates should be extremely dependable, trustworthy, open to feedback and have a positive mindset along with great communication skills. Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not required. The outdoor Valet Greeter is an essential part of the valet team and is responsible for securing guest vehicle keys and accurately collecting and reconciling revenue, while providing exceptional hospitality services in an attentive and friendly manner. Must be organized, assertive, genuinely friendly and enjoy working in a team setting.
Responsibilities
Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts ready to work
Team‑Member is expected to wear his/her badge at all times
Greet patients, guests and hospital staff in a courteous manner and address them by name whenever possible
Assist patients and family members with general questions regarding both the valet service and the client hospital
Ensure customers are receiving timely service
Maintain a polite and professional demeanor at all times, regardless of the situation
Cashier will monitor cash transactions and keep detailed records of car volume and sales
Will on occasion be asked to park vehicles with their valet colleagues if necessary
Adhere to Encore Service Group uniform policy and maintain a well kempt and professional appearance
Actively seek opportunities to exceed expectations
Must be organized, responsible, reliable, be able to delegate properly and have communication skills when working in a team environment
May be asked to park vehicles if needed on occasion
Enjoys working outside in all seasons Michigan has to offer and enjoys working with the public
This job opportunity does require you to stand and walk in a shift
All valet team members must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug screen. The ability to walk and stand throughout the shift is essential to all valet team positions. Applicants must also have reliable transportation.
