Fielding's Culinary Group is now hiring a Server at FIELDING'S LOCAL KITCHEN.

We are searching for an experienced, passionate, and outgoing individual.

ABOUT FIELDING'S LOCAL KITCHEN + BAR Fielding's local kitchen + bar is our casual, upscale neighborhood restaurant in Creekside Park Village Center. Our menu includes dry‑aged steaks, handmade artisan pasta, house‑cured charcuterie, open‑flame pizza, and reinvented desserts. "The Watering Hole" Bar offers 25 draft and bottle craft beer, hand‑crafted cocktails, a 120‑bottle selection of wine, and 150 spirits. Lunch and dinner daily, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

SERVER & BARTENDER Job requirements:

3 years full service, upscale or fine dining preferred

Strong salesmanship and verbal communication skills a must

Strong knowledge of food and new world wine a must

Knowledge of Aloha system a plus

Must be a self‑starter

Server The Server at Fielding's is responsible for guiding the guest experience, selling the menu, ordering via the POS, delivering, collecting cash, and producing repeat visits from our guests.

Essential Duties:

Create positive experience for the guest

Have high accurate menu knowledge

Understand and follow stated step of service

Be able to carry food and beverages on a tray

Communicate with guests in a positive clear manner

Upsell without hard selling the guest

Operate a POS system

Handle cash and credit cards with a zero defect

Expectation

Polish glass and silverware

Have integrity

Competencies & Qualifications:

Able to describe taste profiles for different categories of food and pair wine with that food

Be able to be on time in a specified uniform

Bi‑lingual a plus

Demonstrate interest and share knowledge of food

Able to lift and carry 50 pounds

Able to follow directions

Develop rapport with food expert to understand the full range of Fielding’s products and services

Consistently search ways to improve and promote a high level of guest service

Understand and react to guest and Partner feedback

Treat guests and Partners with respect

Provide a risk‑free and safe working environment and experience

Apply accurate logic and common sense in decision making or solving problems

Seek expertise help and resources to achieve goals and objectives

Stay focused and detail oriented while on duty and work through distractions

Able to identify, prioritize activities and modify work routines to eliminate wasted efforts

Follow guidelines and rules of Fielding’s culinary group

Speak clearly and logically to be understood and get the point across when communicating

Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual

Competencies in using computers and BOH management electronic systems
