Position Overview Voda Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a dependable and experienced
Senior Restoration Technician
to join our growing team. This role will primarily focus on water, fire, and mold restoration projects. When the restoration volume is low, the technician will assist with cleaning and light reconstruction.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable leading jobs from start to finish while delivering excellent customer service.
Primary Responsibilities Restoration Services (Primary Focus)
Perform water mitigation, fire & smoke cleanup, and mold remediation projects.
Conduct job‑site assessments and document conditions using photos, moisture readings, and notes.
Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers)
Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials when required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant job site.
Communicate clearly with homeowners, property managers, and insurance representatives.
Complete job documentation accurately and on time
Cleaning & Specialty Services (As Needed)
Perform carpet, tile & grout, upholstery, and odor removal services
Assist with air duct and dryer vent cleaning when scheduled.
Follow proper chemical usage, safety procedures, and equipment operation standards.
Reconstruction Support (As Needed)
Assist with light reconstruction tasks, including drywall repair, painting, trim, and flooring prep.
Coordinate with subcontractors and project managers as applicable.
Ensure quality workmanship and job completion standards are met.
Leadership & Accountability
Serve as a senior technician on assigned jobs and mentor junior technicians.
Maintain Voda vehicles, equipment, and inventory in clean, ready‑to‑use condition.
Uphold Voda’s professional standards, appearance, and customer service expectations.
Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency response.
Qualifications
2+ years or more of experience in water, fire, or mold restoration (lead experience preferred)
IICRC certifications (WRT required; ASD, AMRT, or FSRT a plus—or willingness to obtain)
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate restoration equipment
Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
