We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-oriented Café Server to join our team. As a CaféServer, you will provide excellent customer service while assisting with the sale of delicious baked goods. You will be the face of our bakery, ensuring that each customer has an enjoyable experience and leaves with a smile. Your role will involve maintaining the bakery’s display, assisting customers and handling cash transactions. Responsibilities
Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, ensuring excellent customer service.
Assist customers in selecting bakery products, answering questions about ingredients, and making recommendations.
Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle payments accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery display cases, shelves, and countertops.
Restock products as needed and ensure the display is always well-presented and stocked.
Ensure that all baked goods are stored properly and that items are rotated to maintain freshness.
Assist with inventory management, including tracking product levels and helping with orders.
Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, sanitation, and storage.
Assist in packaging bakery products for customers and preparing orders for pickup or delivery.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude, fostering a welcoming environment for all customers.
Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in a bakery, retail, or food service environment is a plus, but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
