The Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office – Jail Division is accepting applications for a full-time correctional officer. This position maintains order and discipline in the jail through enforcing rules and regulations among inmates held in the facility.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Valid driver’s license required.
Insurable under Muscatine County’s insurance policy.
Must attain Iowa Law Enforcement Academy Jailer Certification once employed.
Compensation:
Starting total hourly wage ranging from $22.77 – $25.02 with an excellent benefits package.
