Save Job

Already seen as an industry leader in women's health and fitness, FitMiss Health Club is looking for a Studio Manager (4-5 days per week, full-time or close) for our Malvern studio. This is a rare role for someone who wants to do both: Lead outstanding personal training and small group coaching, and

Run the studio day‑to‑day while building an incredible community and culture.

We already have a full book of clients ready for you from day 1, plus a strong member base and a supportive team behind you. If you're the kind of coach who sets the tone, lifts the room's energy, and builds strong connections with members, keep reading. About FitMiss Health Club

FitMiss is a women's strength and fitness studio for all ages and abilities. We've built something special: a space that feels welcoming, positive, and empowering the moment you walk in. Our members are women who show up for themselves and for each other - supportive, friendly, and genuinely grateful for great coaching. We're not a franchise, and we're not a big‑gym environment. We care about coaching quality, connection, confidence‑building, and helping women feel strong in every stage of life. The Role (Two Hats)

Hat #1: Lead Coach (PT + Small Group)

You will be the standard-setter for training quality at Malvern - high energy, high care, and an exceptional member experience. You'll deliver: Quality, tailored, results‑based personal training sessions

High‑energy, motivational small group classes

Programming that is well‑structured, progressive, and aligned with women's health goals

Ongoing member support and education to maximise results and retention

A coaching environment that is positive, supportive, and welcoming (especially for newer or nervous members)

Hat #2: Studio Manager (Culture + Operations + Growth)

You will be the day‑to‑day leader of the studio, owning the standards, communication, and community experience. Responsibilities include: Creating a warm, supportive, everyone‑belongs‑here culture

Member communication and service (email/text/calls as required)

Lead management and sales conversations (enquiries, trials, follow‑ups, conversions)

Staff leadership: supporting rostering, coaching standards, team culture, and accountability

Day‑to‑day studio operations: systems, cleanliness standards, diary flow, and problem‑solving

Working closely with the Director to hit studio targets and continuously improve the member experience

This role suits someone who is confident taking ownership and is excited to build something, not just turn up and train clients. What We Offer (The FitMiss Difference)

Salaried role (4-5 days per week) (not contractor)

Superannuation + annual leave + personal leave

No rent to pay (many gyms charge trainers rent - FitMiss doesn't)

A studio with an established brand, supportive culture, and a strong member community

Clients ready for you from day 1

A role with genuine autonomy and the opportunity to grow into a bigger leadership position

Not a franchise: freedom to coach and deliver training with creativity and professionalism (within FitMiss standards)

Support from a team who care about doing things properly

About You (What We're Looking For)

You are: Strong interest in women’s health

A coach with at least 2 years' experience as a Personal Trainer

Confident delivering both PT and small group coaching with great energy and excellent technique

A natural leader who can build trust and bring people together

Proactive, organised, and capable of managing competing priorities

Comfortable with admin and day‑to‑day organisation, including working confidently on a computer and using software systems

Strong written communication and attention to detail

Comfortable with member communication, follow‑ups, and conversion conversations

Proud of the experience you deliver - professional, warm, and consistent

Someone who wants a career path and leadership opportunity, not just a job

Bonus (but not essential): Previous experience in studio management, team leadership, or operations

Requirements

Cert IV in Fitness (Personal Training)

Current First Aid and CPR

Availability to work four to five days per week at our Malvern studio

A high standard of professionalism and communication
