Shifts: Tuesday 4pm to 6.30pm
Duties and responsibilities Plan and carry out swimming lessons to increase customer skill and confidence
Provide feedback to customers to help them improve their swimming skills
Ensure customers are aware of the risks in the water and build confidence to overcome any barriers
Beat your targets
Run a safe and clean activity, taking care of the resources which are needed to deliver the services on offer
Pitch in as needed to help your centre, your manager, your colleagues
Promote our values and expectations
Support your colleagues
Commit to your own development
Take part in company training programmes
Provide feedback so we can continually improve
Respect the privacy rights of customers and colleagues
Take responsibility for your performance
Take an active interest in the company and your centre
Follow company policies, procedures and systems
Follow the emergency response plan
Skills, qualities and experience Experience of instruction groups of mixed age and abilities
Knowledge of the National Plan for Swimming Teaching
Health and Safety
Good oral communication and interaction skills
Flexible approach to working hours including days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Willingness to achieve the NRASTC Light qualification (provided by Halo). See link for more details.
