DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The Boston Red Sox Fan & Youth Department works to ensure the organization provides opportunities for young fans to connect with the organization and foster our relationship with the next generation through a series of programs and events. This includes gameday activations at the ballpark, mascot programming, Red Sox Kid Nation fan clubs, the mobile showcase, and hosting a series of large-scale events throughout the year.

POSITION OVERVIEW Red Sox Fan & Youth Engagement team members will be responsible for bringing the Boston Red Sox fan experience to life. These experiences serve to bring the excitement of JetBlue Park and the Boston Red Sox out of the ballpark and into the community with a mobile truck equipped with exciting games and baseball activities. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can commit to working throughout the 2026 Spring Training season which runs from mid-February to the end of March.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Fan and youth engagement representatives greet fans at the park each game day and handle the set-up, activation, and take-down of the Red Sox Mobile Showcase, a truck which includes batting cages, and interactive games for children

Fan and youth engagement representatives may also assist as a mascot handler, walking mascots Wally and Tessie around the ballpark, managing crowd control, and facilitating in-seat mascot visits

CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work throughout the 2026 Spring Training season which runs from mid-February to the end of March

Previous experience working with youth/students (not required)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Strong communication and guest service skills

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to interact with and entertain a crowd of all ages

General knowledge of baseball and the Red Sox
