Locum Physician - Gastroenterology in Bay City, MI
Join a reputable healthcare facility in Bay City, Michigan, that is seeking Gastroenterologists for 24-hour call coverage with an ongoing need through 2026. The practice offers a supportive environment with hospitalist assistance and proximity to a GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital. Job Responsibilities:- Provide 24-hour call coverage from Monday morning to Friday evening.
- Conduct ERCP procedures as required.
- Collaborate with hospitalist support and local colorectal surgeons.
- Engage with patients in the GI clinic setting.
- Maintain highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Possess ERCP certification.
- Active Michigan medical license (or proof of IMLC eligibility).
- Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Must demonstrate no malpractice history.
- Michigan medical license (REQUIRED).
- DEA certification (REQUIRED).
- Immunizations as per employee health requirements, including Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu for current season, Covid documentation, and TB test.
