a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES*** Receive, sort and weigh soiled linen; place into appropriate containers.* Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished- product is inspected and meets quality standards.* Turn in all articles found in Laundry Chute/Department to the Supervisor to log in Lost and Found.* Fulfill guest requests and handle guest problems/complaints as they may arise to achieve guest satisfaction.* Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment, or mechanical problems to the Supervisor.* Notify supervisor of supplies needed, damaged linens or hazards to the department to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.* Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.* Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.* Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES*** Some High school diploma or equivalent experience* No formal experience required for the position* Ability to recognize and work with numbers.* Operate industrial laundry equipment.* Communicate information, respond to question, and provide directions and hotel services to guests, vendors, staff member and management.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS*** Continuous Standing as needed* Lift, pull, push, bend, and move items to support the hotel and outlets# BENEFITS PACKAGE* Competitive Salary* Daily Pay!* Team Member Hotel Discount Program* Uniforms Provided for most positions* Benefits - Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and other supplemental options* Paid PTO* 401k with employer match* Team Member Awards and Recognition programs throughout the year* Food and Beverage Discounts* Tuition Reimbursementto learn more about what makes the Hilton College Station a one-of-a-kind in Aggieland!# # The Hilton College Station stands tall in the heart of Aggieland in College Station, TX.
