Responsibilities
Professional Laboratory Assistant performs routine standardized laboratory work requiring close attention to detailed procedures in the preparation and basic maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment, inventory and requisition of supplies, and assists faculty in supervision of students assigned to laboratories. Major Duties
Assist faculty members with classroom instruction, exams, record keeping, adherence to safety procedures and tracking attendance. Tutor or mentor students and assist students in the lab. Perform laboratory research. Clean labs as needed. Obtain materials needed for classes, including texts and other materials. Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Current Cosmetology license from the State of Georgia. 2 years salon experience. Hourly paid position up to 29 hours per week while classes are in session.
