Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator III | Public Works Grade: 145
Salary:
Grade 145/Step 1 to Step 5 = $58,572.80 to $63,398.40 annually DOE

POSITION SUMMARY This position operates, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots the wastewater treatment facility, equipment, and its processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/equivalent and four (4) years of experience in wastewater plant operations.
Valid Class B CDL, without air brake restriction, upon hire or promotion.
Commercial Pesticide Applicator License, categories General, 1A, 7, & 12, upon hire or promotion.
First Aid and CPR certification upon hire or promotion.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree or Technical degree.
Other Requirements
SDDANR Wastewater Operations III Certificate upon hire or promotion.
Must reside within 15 miles of the Watertown Regional Airport within six (6) months of hire.
Veteran's preference points are acknowledged in the City's hiring process.
