Position Summary:
The University Student Assistant of Alumni Relations duties are to assist the alumni relations staff with alumni-related activities and management, assist with preparation for events, meetings, homecoming activities, and perform administrative and other support duties as required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the Alumni Relations faculty/staff with alumni‑related activities and management.
Assist with preparation for events, meetings, and homecoming activities.
Perform operational and administrative tasks.
Provide additional support duties as required by the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled as a Jacksonville State student taking at least three (3) credit hours per fall or spring semester.
Non‑first‑time students must have a GPA of 2.00 or higher.
Provide evidence of enrollment and GPA (unofficial transcript or MyJaxState enrollment/GPA printout).
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic knowledge of Canva or similar applications.
Basic graphic design skills.
Notice Regarding International Students:
All international students must be in a valid immigration status.
Visa requirements: must be enrolled full‑time and possess:
Passport from their country.
F‑1 Student Visa or J‑1 Exchange Student Visa.
U.S. Customs Form I‑94.
Official photo identification.
