The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and guest comfort in accordance with
IHG Way of Clean
standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and consistently clean environment for all guests and team members.
Responsibilities
Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival
Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned
Reply to general questions guests have during their stay
Qualifications
Must be flexible
Weekends are a must
Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
Compensation $16.50 hourly
