Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented
Veterinary Receptionist
to be the first point of contact for our clients. This role is essential to keeping our practice running smoothly and ensuring a positive experience for every visitor.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and patients warmly, in person and by phone
Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
Check clients in and out; process payments accurately
Maintain client and patient records in the practice management system
Handle multi-line phones, emails, and prescription requests
Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technicians
Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
Provide compassionate support to clients during stressful or emotional situations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred
Veterinary or medical office experience a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Basic computer skills and comfort learning new software
Compassion for animals and their owners
