Primary Responsibilities:

The Spa Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Spa Providers, Spa Concierge, and Spa Attendants, while supporting daily operations and delivering exceptional guest service across the spa facilities. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, high service standards, and effective team leadership. Responsibilities include role of Spa Concierge in addition to staffing, facility and locker room operations, inventory and supply management, group bookings, concierge and pre-arrival requests, and other operational functions as needed.

Participate in weekly planning and operational meetings.

Collaborate with management to develop short- and long-term departmental goals and monitor ongoing progress.

Conduct regular evaluations of spa facilities, staff appearance, and service standards; implement action plans as necessary.

Ensure efficient spa operations, including staffing, inventory levels, supply management, and sales performance.

Monitor and follow up on all spa maintenance requests.

Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Conduct service standard audits and communicate goals, expectations, and relevant information to spa staff.

Lead daily briefings and maintain a visible, hands‑on leadership presence within the department.

Train, coach, and mentor team members while reinforcing quality standards through feedback, audits, and ongoing support.

Conduct tours for new hires, media representatives, and VIP guests.

Assist the Spa Director as a point of contact for group bookings and spa buyouts.

Work from the spa desk for the duration of scheduled shifts.

Utilize the Book4Time spa booking system proficiently.

Enforce spa rules, policies, and procedures with tact, professionalism, and discretion.

Take ownership of guest concerns and complaints, demonstrating initiative to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Participate in training sessions, departmental communications, planning meetings, and associate engagement activities.

Support associate and community relations initiatives as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Working Conditions:

Primarily indoor work environment with occasional outdoor exposure

Work Hours:

Must be able to work shift and days determined by the Manager.

Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week, when needed.

Equipment Use:

Skilled in computerized systems, including POS, inventory management, and spreadsheet software.

Mental and Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods; includes walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.

Communication Demands:

Energetic, professional, and enthusiastic demeanor.

Ability to present oneself in a professional and polished manner at all times.

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a spa, wellness, hospitality, or related environment.

Preferred Experience Includes:

Staff training, scheduling, supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Inventory management and financial tracking.

Marketing, merchandising, and programming support.

Ability to perform operational duties of staff positions as needed.
