JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking a dependable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in cooking high-quality food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow their culinary skills. As a Line Cook, you’ll be responsible for prepping ingredients, cooking menu items to spec, and maintaining a clean and efficient workstation throughout service.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and stock your station with all necessary supplies before service

Prepare ingredients as directed (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, making sauces)

Cook and plate dishes according to chef specifications and restaurant standards

Work in coordination with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station during and after shifts

Properly handle and store leftover food

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, with attention to quality and consistency

Communicate any issues (e.g., equipment malfunctions or ingredient shortages) to the Sous or Executive Chef

Skills & Qualifications

Previous kitchen experience (line cook, prep cook, or similar role) preferred

Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment

Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately

Strong work ethic and reliability

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety

Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
