Job Summary The Mechatronics Technician II supports maintenance and process engineering by installing, improving, and troubleshooting automated equipment. This is a growth-oriented role with exposure to new equipment installs, system upgrades, and advanced controls technologies. This role will be working with PLC-controlled equipment, vision systems, laser scanners, and smart machines. You will work directly with manufacturing equipment, automation projects, and advanced troubleshooting in a modern, climate-controlled facility. Responsibilities PLC-based troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment (I/O, sensors, drives, safety circuits) Electrical and mechanical support for automation projects and equipment upgrades Installation, wiring, and checkout of machines, automation cells, and production equipment Support of vision systems, laser scanners, safety devices, and sensors Read and use electrical schematics, ladder logic, and OEM documentation Assist with new equipment installations, relocations, and commissioning Partner with Maintenance, Process Engineering, and external integrators Follow all quality, safety, and environmental procedures Technologies You’ll Be Exposed To Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and ladder logic Vision systems and inspection cameras Laser scanners and safety systems Industrial sensors, servos, VFDs, and linear actuators Electrical panels, controls wiring, and machine troubleshooting Mechanical assembly and machine fabrication What We’re Looking For Associate’s Degree in

Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical Technology , or similar 3–6 years

of hands-on experience with automated or PLC-controlled equipment Ability to connect to a PLC and troubleshoot using ladder logic Experience with electrical wiring and control panels Mechanical aptitude for assembly, adjustment, and repair Comfortable working from schematics and technical documentation Basic proficiency with MS Office; experience with PLC software or SolidWorks is a plus Manufacturing experience (automated assembly, plastics, extrusion) is a plus, not required Personal Qualities Curious problem-solver who enjoys troubleshooting Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Strong communicator who can explain technical issues clearly Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety Motivated to grow skills in automation and controls Mostly indoor, clean, air-conditioned manufacturing facility Hands-on role working directly with equipment and automation systems Equal Opportunity Employer
