POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The Psychology Assistant will assist the study in administering neuropsychological tests, collecting data, conducting preliminary statistical analyses using SPSS.
Perform neurophyschological testing.
Interviews, data collection and tabulation.
Perform library research.
Managing databases using Excel and Filemaker.
Organize grant information for IRB.
Must be willing to learn phlebotomy techniques.
Report writing.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is required; coursework in Psychology preferred
Major in Neuroscience is preferred
Experience of working in a Neuroscience Laboratory preferred
Experience with software programs such as excel, SSPS, and matlab preferred
Skills and Competencies
Excellent organizational, oral, written and analytical communications skills; strong database management and clear understanding of clinical and research databases
Strong project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows and Mac operating systems
Compensation
Hiring Rate: $27.70 per year
Post Probationary Rate: $28.24 per year
Job Rate: $29.11 per year
Maximum Salary Range: USD $27.70 per year
