Housekeeper

to join our amazing team!

Responsibilities:

Cleans public areas and residents’ apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture and common areas.

Distributes laundered articles and linens; replaces and hangs draperies; changes beds; cleans public restrooms and replenishes supplies as needed.

Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors; cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies; dusts furniture and equipment; polishes metalwork; washes walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.

Washes, dries, irons resident laundry and community linens and textiles in provided appliances; folds and/or hangs laundry; distributes laundered articles and linens; replaces draperies and changes beds.

Maintains resident laundry areas, including mopping floors and washing walls regularly.

Washes windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.

Keeps utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.

Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.

Stocks cleaning cart with supplies.

Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal areas; ensures trash and dumpster areas are clean.

Completes maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.

Reports resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.

Reports potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues promptly to Supervisor.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsible for dusting and polishing furniture including picture frames, mirrors, and other items in the apartment.

Washes and disinfects all countertops and sink areas according to specified procedures.

Mops and disinfects bathrooms and floors.

Vacuum all carpeted areas.

Responsible for refilling paper products and soap dispensers; empties trash.

Handles common area cleaning and detailed cleaning assignments as directed.

Provides customer service and attention to detail.
