Join Our Crew as a Traffic Control Technician Where Hard Work Meets Adventure — Your Outdoor Office is Calling!
At FC Traffic Control, we don’t just keep the roads safe — we keep things moving, literally and figuratively. We’re a fast-growing force in the traffic control industry, and we’re on the lookout for motivated, hands‑on Technicians ready to make an impact. If you're the type who loves being outdoors, getting things done, and working with a solid crew, this is your time to shine.
Why You’ll Love This Gig You won’t be stuck behind a desk — this is real‑world, boots‑on‑the‑ground work. You’ll be out in the elements, setting up safe zones, keeping traffic flowing, and helping build the infrastructure that keeps communities thriving. Plus, you’ll do it with a team that works hard, laughs harder, and always has your back.
What You'll Be Doing
Assist crew leads with everything needed to keep projects on track.
Set up cones, signs, and posts — all the essentials for safe and efficient work zones.
Mark layouts with precision and make sure every detail is dialed in.
Prep, maintain, and handle tools like a boss — your gear is your pride.
Dig, erect, organize, and tidy up. Every job starts and ends with you.
Use a range of hand and power tools to tackle daily tasks like a pro.
Safely direct traffic and keep drivers and workers out of harm’s way.
Hit the road in company vehicles and take calls like a field‑ready problem solver.
What You Bring To The Table
You enjoy working with others and can keep it positive, even when the pressure’s on.
You understand the rules of the road (and the work zone) and stick to them.
You can keep your team in the loop with clear verbal and written updates.
Physically up to the challenge — lifting, carrying, walking uneven ground, rain or shine.
Physical Stuff You Gotta Do
Squat, stoop, climb, and crawl — you know the drill.
Handle uneven terrain and all weather conditions.
Lift up to 80 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Have the balance, coordination, and grit to keep going.
Other Requirements
Flagger Certification (Preferred). If not, we will get you certified!
Traffic Control Technician (TCT) Certification (Preferred).
The Non‑Negotiables
Available nights and weekends when duty calls.
Pass a background check.
Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
Perks & Benefits That Pack a Punch We believe in taking care of the crew. After 60 days, enjoy partially employer‑paid health benefits — because your health matters. Plus, take paid holidays to relax and recharge, and access exclusive perks just for being part of the team.
