Pay Rate PAY RATE:
$12.00/hr
Responsibilities
Ensure safety of all participants.
Follow the YMCA national guidelines for all swim lessons.
Evaluate each student's performance during swim sessions and provide feedback, complete attendance, progress, and accident reports, and ensure that all swimming aids and equipment are in good working order.
Prepare and follow lesson plans for each swim instruction lesson.
Clean and store teaching equipment properly.
Assist lifeguard on duty with any emergency situation in the aquatics area.

We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility and adheres to our mission. Prior Swim Lesson instruction experience preferred, but not required. Swim Instruction training also provided by YMCA. This position is open to candidates ages 16 and older.
