This role keeps 40+ stores stocked, organized, and beautifully merchandised, while building strong, consistent relationships with store managers. It is hands‑on, fast‑moving, and visible, ensuring products look right, shelves are tagged, inventory is accurate, and every location feels supported. Salary Range
$60,000 Year base salary + End‑of‑year merit bonus. Merchandiser Responsibilities
Manage and nurture the relationship with a 40‑store retail chain across Long Island, Queens, and Brooklyn. Visit stores daily to ensure shelves are stocked, tagged, organized, and merchandised to planogram standards. Use a handheld scanner/iPad to track and merchandise products. Support store managers with inventory needs, product placement, and brand presentation. Plan weekly routes and structure your schedule to efficiently cover the territory. Assist the Strategic Account Manager with store sets, displays, and merchandising projects. Serve as the in‑store ambassador and maintain a polished, professional presence. Identify opportunities to improve product visibility and store performance. Merchandiser Requirements
1‑2 years of merchandising, sales support, or account management experience; strong entry‑level candidates considered. Must live in Long Island, Queens, or Brooklyn and have a reliable personal vehicle. Ability to lift boxes, move products, and tag shelves. Strong organization, time management, and communication skills. Comfortable working fully in field with minimal office time. Detail‑oriented, reliable, personable, and able to build rapport quickly. Experience in hardware, paint, building materials, home improvement, or distribution preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Benefits
