General Description

Under the direct supervision of store management, the Donation Attendant greets and assists donors, breaks down donations, maintains accurate donor records, and provides excellent customer service. The role also includes participation in sales floor activities, placing merchandise, preparing, processing, and pricing merchandise, loading/unloading trucks and trailers, and ensuring maximum security and protection of company assets. Summary of Essential Job Functions

Follow safety policies and procedures ensuring maximum safety, security and protection of all donors and company assets. Greet all donors in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner and assist with unloading donations from vehicles. Offer all donors a donation receipt and ensure accurate count of all donors for the location are logged/recorded. Ensure all donations are broken down into categories assigned by supervisor. Ensure drive through donation areas are cleaned and organized and transport all trash to dumpster. Follow company policy and procedures. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent; preferred a minimum of 1‑3 months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to use a pallet jack and possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Comply with all agency and program policies and procedures including confidentiality, employee conduct, computer usage and dress code. Able to work various shifts and special events, including evenings and weekends as assigned by the supervisor. Trustworthy and able to handle high volumes of cash daily. Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to resolve issues in a calm and efficient manner. Meet program/department performance and productivity standards. Adhere to the schedule agreed upon with the supervisor. Follow and model CFR’s core values. Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, vehicle and meet agency liability insurance requirements. Standing, walking, sitting for extended periods of time daily; standing and walking short distances. Moderate twisting, bending, stooping and lifting up to 40 pounds in the performance of assigned duties. Ability to use a variety of office equipment and machines as referenced. Normal manual dexterity and eye‑hand coordination required. Repeated hand‑wrist movement required. The nature of the position involves a fast paced working environment with multitasking of many different duties and tasks. General daily priorities may change at a moment’s notice and the position requires quick response time and flexibility. Any offer of employment is contingent upon drug test and fingerprint clearance.
