Our Conservatory of Music is looking for qualified part‑time instructors to teach private, on‑campus voice lessons to tenor, baritone, and bass voice students ranging from sixth‑grade singers to advanced All‑State caliber musicians.
Responsibilities
Provide weekly individual instruction to students ranging from sixth‑grade singers through advanced levels, including All‑State caliber musicians.
Tailor lessons to meet the needs of each student, fostering technical growth, musicality, and independent musicianship.
Communicate regularly with students, families, and ensemble directors to support overall student development.
Create a positive and supportive learning environment that inspires students to achieve their full potential.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in vocal pedagogy and health.
Prior experience teaching private lessons to students of varied ability levels.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualities
Experience preparing students for auditions (All‑State, musical and staged productions, college entrance).
A collaborative spirit and interest in contributing to a thriving school music community.
